PART-TIME AUCTION OFFICE ASSISTANT – Gegentala USA, Inc. dba Altair Auctions seeks a part-time Auction Assistant to aid in the daily tasks of the office and auction house. Tasks include but not limited to answering phone calls, emails, and inquiries, taking payments, managing the check-in/check-out process on auction day, and records management. Additional duties include but not limited to setting up gallery for the auction, filing, coordinating temporary weekend auction help, working with local shipping companies, and other office duties as required. Requirements: A professional attitude and attention to detail. Flexibility with regards to schedule, being available up to three days a week, with on-call scheduling during busy times. Excellent telephone and inter-personal skills, professional and patient, proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office, and internet, superb organizational skills, and a pleasant disposition. A willingness and ability to learn new skills. Additional skills desired, but not required include experience with AuctionFlex, LiveAuctioneers.com, and Invaluable.com, or prior experience working at an auction house.
